PorchFest will take place on April 18, 2026, from 12 pm to 4 pm, transforming the beautifulTown of Tioga/Tioga Town Center into a vibrant, walkable music festival featuring live performances from 10 bands on neighborhood porches throughout the community and on the Tioga Town Center Mainstage. This free, inaugural event invites neighbors, families, and music lovers to stroll through the neighborhood, discover new artists, and enjoy a day of community connection and live music.PorchFest Gainesville is more than just a music festival—it is a community fundraiser benefiting The Independence Project, a nonprofit dedicated to building a supportive community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, allowing them to live as independently as possible. Join us for PorchFest 2026, a vibrant community celebration presented by The Independence Project. This annual music festival unites local artists, families, and friends to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

Is the event free?
Yes! PorchFest is free to the public, but contributions to The Independence Project are welcome.
how can i donate?
You can contribute by scanning the QR codes found at each porch or signage throughout the event, as well as here on our website. With a $20 donation at the event, you'll enjoy a 10% discount at participating restaurants in the Tioga Town Center for that day.
How many Bands will perform?
Ten bands will perform across various porches throughout the afternoon. Maps will be accessible on this website and at the event.
How long does each band play?
Length of time will be determined soon-stay tuned.
Where should I park?
Parking is accessible along the community streets of Town of Tioga, as well as in public parking lots. Additionally, satellite parking will be offered at Campus USA in Jonesville, accompanied by complimentary shuttle service. Please adhere to the posted signs and ensure that driveways and emergency access routes are not obstructed.
Can I walk between porches?
PorchFest is easily navigable on foot, allowing guests to stroll through porches while enjoying performances from emerging bands.
Do I need to bring anything?
Here are some recommendations for what to bring: comfortable walking shoes, a blanket, a chair, a wagon, and sunscreen. Don't forget to stay hydrated!
Will food and drinks be available?
Yes! Food trucks, drink trucks, and the restaurants in theTioga Town Center will be open to purchase food and drinks throughout the day.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome. Please clean up after your pet.
What happens if it rains?
Event is rain or shine.
Are restrooms available?
Yes, porta pottieswill be located at the event. Restrooms in theTown of Tioga will only be available for paying customers.
What is available for purchase?
Limited edition Porchfest 2026 merchandise items, Facepainting, Fairy hair, food/drink, and adult beverages.
